Upcoming: WORKSHOP — REPAIR CAFÉ
Would you love to wear your favorite sweater again, but it’s full of holes? Is your carnival costume still crumpled from the last party? Have you always wanted to learn how to properly darn your socks? Join our Repair Café, where in just one morning you’ll learn how to repair your beloved clothes, so you can get back to wearing them and showing them off! Already know how to do this, but prefer repairing things in good company? You are very welcome to join too. The workshop will be hosted by Christa van der Meer.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
On Saturday 31 October, 10:00—12:30 h we’ll work in a group of up to 6 people, with everyone bringing their own clothes to repair. There will be enough time to repair 1 or 2 items, but feel free to bring more so you’ll have the option to choose what you want to work on.
Participation: €35. Everyone is welcome — from beginners to pros. Ages 14 and up. Guidance will be possible in both English and Dutch.
We provide the materials, tools, and snacks. The focus will be on hand repairs, but there will also be an opportunity to use a (industrial) sewing machine.
