Always dreamed of hosting your own fashion show, belly dance event, clothing swap or film screening and inviting your network, family and fans? It is possible to rent our project space and open up to the public.
We offer a platform for presentation, production, reflection with fashion as a starting point. Das Leben am Haverkamp collaborates with practitioners looking for an opportunity to try out and experiment with new techniques or exhibition formats. Upon request, the space is also available for commercial projects and events.
LOCATION
Das Leben am Haverkamp is settled in the buzzing streets in the heart of The Hague. The building is one of the city's first 'sky scraper' during the early 1920's and later renovated to become a gallery of more than 200 m2. Das Leben am Haverkamp realized 100+ m2 workspaces and a 30 m2 projectspace. The spaces have a professional lighting system, high ceilings, has a great connection to the street due to it's big windows and is equipped to host a great variety of presentations. In the workspaces we offer a fully equipped wood workshop, textile workshop and gold smithing workplace which can be rented seperately.
And all of this is within 10 minutes walking distance of both Central Station and Den Haag HS. It is a 5 minute walk from the nearest parking garage and tram. We are around the corner from many other cultural hotspots and nightlife.

GOOD TO KNOW
The exhibiting artist(s) are in charge of opening, manning and closing the exhibition. If necessary, the space can be available for +2 days buildup/experimentation before the exhibition opening, and 1 day breakdown after it closes.
In case the exhibiting artist decides to use their own photographer, Das Leben am Haverkamp requests access to use some of the photographs for documentation of the exhibition on our website and socials.
COSTS
We work with a tier price list. Please get in touch about the nature of your work and situation and we will discuss costs with you. Das Leben am Haverkamp is also able to help with a formal invitation letter for funding purposes for artists.
